Fuda Cancer Hospital Cost for International Patients
There is no single Fuda Cancer Hospital price for cancer treatment. The final bill depends on the diagnosis, stage, proposed procedure, consumables, medicines, anesthesia, image guidance, room/ICU use and length of stay. The useful number is a written case-specific estimate after medical-record review.
What Price Range Should an International Patient Expect?
There are two very different kinds of numbers available online: official billing rules and rough planning ranges. They should not be mixed.
| Price / billing statement | Source level | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| No universal fixed cancer-treatment package | Official Fuda billing policy | Charges depend on actual treatment items and consumption. A patient-specific quote should follow medical review. |
| RMB billing + inpatient deposit system | Official Fuda billing policy | Plan the hospital budget in RMB even if you transfer foreign currency. |
| RMB 30,000–50,000 for some early minimally invasive treatment scenarios | Baidu Health 2026 reference | Useful only as a broad Chinese patient-facing planning band. It is not a Fuda quote and does not define what is included. |
| RMB 80,000–150,000 for complex surgery or combined chemoradiotherapy scenarios | Baidu Health 2026 reference | Again, this is a rough reference range rather than a tariff for an international patient. |
| Tens of thousands to more than RMB 200,000 overall in some cancer-treatment scenarios | Baidu Health 2026 reference | Shows how wide the range can become when disease severity, surgery and hospitalization differ. |

How Fuda Says It Bills Patients
Fuda’s published billing policy states that patient charges are denominated in Chinese yuan. Foreign-currency payments are converted according to the exchange rate used at payment.
The hospital describes a pre-payment system and expects sufficient deposits to be maintained during hospitalization.
The published policy says physician consultation is free, while special nursing and invited outside consultants may generate separate charges.
Fuda says inpatients can access an updated list of expenses. Ask for itemization both during admission and before final discharge.
What Can Be Included — and What May Be Charged Separately?
This is the most important part of the cost page. A low procedure price is not necessarily the total hospital bill.
| Charge category | What Fuda’s published policy says | What to request before travel |
|---|---|---|
| Procedure / technology fee | For major projects such as cryosurgery, vascular intervention, endoscopy or surgery, the quoted fee may refer mainly to the technology/procedure itself. | Ask for the exact procedure name, number of sessions and technology fee. |
| Consumables | Medical materials may be billed according to actual use rather than included in the headline procedure fee. | Ask which catheters, probes, seeds, implants or other consumables are expected and whether there is a ceiling. |
| Medicines | Medication can be charged separately from the procedure. | Separate inpatient drugs, chemotherapy/targeted drugs and discharge medicines. |
| Anesthesia | Fuda’s policy states that anesthesia can generate additional payment. | Ask whether local anesthesia, sedation or general anesthesia is planned. |
| CT / ultrasound guidance | Image guidance can be billed separately when a procedure requires it. | Ask whether CT, ultrasound or another image-guidance fee is included. |
| Room / nursing | Room, nursing and special care are separate charge categories. The public billing page does not provide a usable current room-rate table. | Request current room class, daily rate and nursing/special-care fees. |
| Laboratory / examination | Laboratory and examination costs appear among the hospital’s charge categories. | Ask which pre-treatment blood tests, imaging or repeat pathology are expected after admission. |
Fuda Treatment Cost by Method: What Changes the Bill?
Cryosurgical Ablation Cost Drivers
Cost can change with the number and size of tumors, number of probes, imaging guidance, anesthesia, repeat sessions, consumables, ICU/monitoring needs and whether cryo is combined with another treatment.
No current official fixed tariff found
NanoKnife Cost Drivers
IRE cost depends on target anatomy, number of electrodes, image guidance, anesthesia, procedure complexity and whether the case requires additional systemic or interventional therapy.
No current official fixed tariff found
Vascular Intervention Cost Drivers
Catheters, embolic materials, chemotherapy drugs, imaging, contrast, repeated sessions and inpatient observation can all change the total.
Quote after case review
Operation + Reconstruction + Stay
Surgical complexity, anesthesia, operating-room time, implants, pathology, blood products, ICU and complications can move the final bill far beyond a basic procedure fee.
Disease-specific estimate required
Chemo / Targeted / Immunotherapy
Drug choice, dose, body size, number of cycles and whether branded or locally available products are used may dominate the budget.
Cycle-by-cycle cost varies
CAR-T
Fuda now publishes a CAR-T pathway for selected adult large B-cell lymphoma, but this page does not quote a CAR-T price because product, eligibility, hospitalization and complication-management costs must be confirmed for the individual patient.
Do not use a generic package quote

- How additional deposits are requested
Extra Costs an International Patient Should Budget For
The hospital invoice is only one part of the medical-travel budget.
Why Two Patients With the Same Cancer Can Get Very Different Fuda Quotes
Number, size and location
A small single lesion and multiple large lesions can require different numbers of probes, sessions, imaging and inpatient days.
Curative vs local control vs palliation
The objective changes the intensity and combination of surgery, ablation, radiation and systemic therapy.
First treatment vs salvage
Prior surgery, radiation, chemotherapy or immunotherapy can make a later procedure more complex and may require additional testing.
Routine vs prolonged admission
ICU, special nursing, complications or delayed recovery increase the inpatient component of cost.
Drug choice changes everything
Some targeted, immune or supportive medicines may cost far more than routine inpatient drugs and can recur every cycle.
One procedure vs multi-modality plan
A local procedure combined with interventional chemotherapy, systemic therapy or radiation is a different budget from one standalone treatment.

Questions to Ask Before Paying a Fuda Deposit
1. Is this the total estimate or only the procedure fee?
Ask specifically about materials, medicines, anesthesia and image guidance.
2. How many procedures or cycles are expected?
A per-session price is not the same as the full treatment-course cost.
3. What room and nursing charges are assumed?
Get the room category, expected length of stay and current daily rates.
4. What happens if the plan changes after admission?
Ask how extra procedures, longer hospitalization and additional deposits are approved.
5. Are high-cost drugs included?
Targeted therapy, immunotherapy and some supportive drugs can materially change the bill.
6. Which items are explicitly excluded?
A written exclusion list is as important as the headline price.

Frequently Asked Questions
Direct answers to common Fuda Cancer Hospital price and billing questions.
There is no single fixed Fuda Cancer Hospital price for all cancer patients. The bill depends on diagnosis, stage, treatment method, consumables, medicines, anesthesia, imaging guidance, hospital stay and complications. A case-specific written estimate should follow review of pathology and imaging.
Fuda’s published billing policy says charges are based on RMB. If foreign currency is used, conversion depends on the exchange rate applied at the time of payment. Ask the hospital to state the required deposit and estimate in RMB.
Yes. Fuda’s published billing policy describes a pre-payment or deposit system for hospitalization. The current deposit amount should be confirmed in writing for the individual admission because it is not one universal figure for every cancer case.
Fuda’s published billing policy describes the hospital doctor consultation as free of charge. It also says special nursing and outside consultant doctors invited from another hospital can be charged separately. Confirm the current 2026 arrangement before travel.
We did not find a reliable current official fixed cryoablation tariff that applies to every patient. Fuda’s billing policy says a cryosurgery technology fee may exclude consumables, medication, anesthesia and CT or ultrasound guidance. The tumor location, size, number of probes and treatment sessions can also change the total.
Fuda lists NanoKnife/irreversible electroporation as a treatment, but a current universal public tariff is not available on the official treatment directory. The cost depends on tumor anatomy, number of electrodes, anesthesia, imaging guidance, hospital stay and any combination treatment. Request a written case-specific quote.
Not necessarily. Fuda’s published billing policy explicitly says that major diagnosis and treatment project fees may refer to technology costs and may not include consumed medical materials or medication. Anesthesia and CT or ultrasound guidance can also be billed separately.
Fuda’s public billing page lists room and inpatient care as charge categories but does not provide a reliable current 2026 room-rate table. Ask the hospital to state the room class, current daily room price, nursing charges and expected inpatient days in the written estimate.
An overseas patient should not assume that domestic Chinese medical-insurance reimbursement applies. Unless your insurer or Chinese coverage has confirmed payment in writing, plan as an international self-pay patient and request a full written hospital estimate.
Send pathology, stage, current CT/MRI/PET-CT, previous surgery, radiation and systemic-treatment history, relevant biomarkers and any existing Fuda proposal. The hospital needs the medical plan before it can provide a meaningful treatment estimate.

Send the Medical File and Ask for an Itemized Quote
The best way to avoid a misleading “package price” is to tie the estimate to a named treatment plan and ask what is included, what is excluded and which charges can change after admission.
