Hospitals in Guangzhou for International Patients

Guangzhou has several nationally important medical centers with distinct strengths in cancer, respiratory medicine, cardiovascular disease, transplantation, kidney disease, colorectal and digestive care, ophthalmology, pediatrics, maternal-fetal medicine and complex tertiary care. The best hospital is not the one with the broadest reputation—it is the one whose specialty, international route and practical access match the patient’s exact clinical question.

Quick routing: consider The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University for complex multidisciplinary care, nephrology and transplant questions; SYSUCC for specialist oncology; Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital for cardiovascular disease; the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University for respiratory/thoracic care; Nanfang for kidney/digestive complexity; SYSU Sixth for colorectal/GI care; Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center for eye disease; Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center for pediatric and maternal-fetal care; and Fuda when a cancer patient needs a clearly published international-service pathway.
✓ Specialty-first matching ✓ International access checked separately ✓ Official hospital & government sources ✓ No “best hospital” guarantee

Why Guangzhou Is a Major Medical Referral City

Guangzhou’s hospital ecosystem is unusually diverse. It combines Sun Yat-sen University referral hospitals, Southern Medical University hospitals, provincial institutes and Guangzhou Medical University centers. For a medical traveler, this creates strong specialty choices—but it also makes hospital selection more important because international-patient access varies significantly from one institution to another.

Oncology Dedicated public cancer center at SYSUCC plus Fuda’s established international cancer pathway.
Respiratory National Center for Respiratory Medicine at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University.
Cardiovascular Guangdong Cardiovascular Institute inside Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital.
Specialty depth Dedicated GI/colorectal, ophthalmic, pediatric/maternal, kidney and transplant referral programs.
Medical strength is not the same as international accessibility. Some Guangzhou hospitals publish dedicated international centers with direct contact details. Others are listed as having English-speaking staff but still use standard Chinese registration systems. We separate those two questions throughout this guide.

Guangzhou Hospitals: Quick Comparison

Hospital Strong reasons to consider it International access Important limitation / check
The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University Complex tertiary care, nephrology, organ transplantation, surgery, multisystem disease. Official Private Medical Service & Healthcare Center created for international/private care; public English site; UK FCDO lists English-speaking staff. Confirm exact specialty, campus, private-service appointment and transplant eligibility before travel.
Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center (SYSUCC) Dedicated oncology: breast, lung/thoracic, nasopharyngeal, GI, liver, urology, gynecologic, pediatric and other cancers. Current International Medical Center with dedicated outpatient/inpatient contacts and full-cycle coordination. Standard outpatient APP/WeChat registration requires a Chinese phone number; medical documents are issued in Chinese and document translation is not provided.
Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital Cardiology, cardiac surgery, arrhythmia, coronary and structural heart disease, critical cardiac care, plus broad tertiary specialties. Concord Medical Center for international/private patients; UK FCDO lists English-speaking staff. Confirm whether the relevant specialist uses Concord Medical Center and whether insurer/direct-payment arrangements apply to your plan.
The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University Respiratory medicine, pulmonary nodules, COPD, asthma, ILD, pulmonary hypertension, sleep medicine, thoracic/lung cancer care. Official English International Patient Services with coordinators for pre-travel, appointments, translation, records and follow-up. Multiple campuses: confirm the site for consultation, testing, admission and surgery.
Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University Kidney disease, gastroenterology, orthopedics/trauma, liver disease, rheumatology and difficult multisystem disease. UK FCDO lists English-speaking staff; Southern Medical University provides current English institutional information. A dedicated foreign-patient booking workflow is less clearly published in English than at some other Guangzhou centers—confirm before travel.
The Sixth Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University Colorectal surgery, GI disease, gastric tumors, IBD, complex digestive surgery, reproductive medicine. Official International Medical Center with outpatient/inpatient care, premium health checks and contracted-insurer direct billing. Clarify whether the case belongs in GI surgery, gastroenterology, oncology or reproductive medicine and which campus is used.
Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University All ophthalmic subspecialties including retina, glaucoma, cornea, cataract, pediatric ophthalmology, ocular oncology and complex eye disease. Dedicated International Eye Care service for foreign nationals with international hotline and email. Campus depends on eye subspecialty. Ouzhuang—not Zhujiang New Town—has the 24/7 ophthalmic emergency department.
Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University Broad tertiary and surgical care when a comprehensive Sun Yat-sen University hospital is appropriate. UK FCDO lists English-speaking staff and the hospital as a public all-specialty facility. Current dedicated overseas self-pay intake details are not as clearly published in English; verify the exact route.
Zhujiang Hospital, Southern Medical University Neurosurgery, severe cerebral injury, pediatric/neonatal complexity, transplantation and broad minimally invasive surgery. UK FCDO lists English-speaking staff; SMU maintains an English hospital profile. Confirm current international registration, interpreter support and department-specific access before travel.
Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center Pediatrics, pediatric surgery, obstetrics, maternal-fetal medicine, prenatal diagnosis, neonatal and women’s care. Hospital booking system includes an International Medical Clinic category; international visits are self-pay. Confirm foreign-ID registration, language support, correct campus and whether the international clinic covers the required pediatric/obstetric specialty.
Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital Cancer-focused care with selected interventional/local treatment programs and long-standing international-patient logistics. Published international service includes record review, visa support, translation coordination and airport-transfer arrangements. Fuda states it does not provide emergency services. Treatment claims and technology availability should be checked case by case.

This table is a routing guide, not a hospital ranking. A hospital’s published research scale or specialty status does not guarantee better outcomes for an individual patient.

Core Guangzhou Hospital Routes

Complex / multisystem

The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University

A strong first route when the patient has a difficult diagnosis involving several specialties, significant kidney disease, organ-transplant questions or a need for complex surgery within a broad academic hospital. Its Private Medical Service & Healthcare Center provides international/private outpatient and inpatient care.

Cancer

Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center

Guangzhou’s dedicated public oncology route, with disease-specific cancer departments, radiation oncology, pathology, molecular diagnosis, nuclear medicine, clinical trials and a current International Medical Center.

Heart

Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital

The Guangdong Cardiovascular Institute covers coronary disease, arrhythmia, structural heart disease, cardiac surgery, pediatric cardiology and critical cardiovascular care. Concord Medical Center provides an international/private service layer.

Respiratory

First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University

The main Guangzhou route for difficult respiratory and thoracic disease, with a current English international patient platform and National Center for Respiratory Medicine infrastructure.

Kidney / GI / orthopedics

Nanfang Hospital

Broad tertiary hospital with a National Clinical Research Center for kidney disease plus major digestive, liver, trauma/orthopedic and rheumatology platforms.

Colorectal / GI

Sixth Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University

A distinct route for colorectal cancer, complex GI surgery, IBD and reproductive medicine. Its International Medical Center publishes dedicated contacts and insurance direct-billing support.

Eye

Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center

Dedicated eye hospital covering all ophthalmic subspecialties. International Eye Care has direct foreign-patient phone/email booking, and Ouzhuang campus has 24/7 ophthalmic emergency care.

Women / children

Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center

Specialist route for pediatric medicine and surgery, obstetrics, fetal medicine, prenatal diagnosis, neonatology and complex women’s health. The hospital booking system includes an International Medical Clinic.

International cancer route

Fuda Cancer Hospital Guangzhou

Fuda is operationally different from the large public academic hospitals: it has a highly explicit international-patient intake pathway. That can be useful, but hospital convenience should never replace diagnosis-specific comparison with SYSUCC or another specialist center.

Cancer Hospitals in Guangzhou

For an international cancer patient, Guangzhou offers two very different referral models. SYSUCC is a major public academic cancer center with a current International Medical Center. Fuda is a specialist cancer hospital with a long-standing foreign-patient coordination model. The right route depends on tumor type, stage, required procedure, treatment availability and how much international logistics support the patient needs.

Public academic oncology

Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center

  • Breast oncology
  • Thoracic / lung cancer
  • Nasopharyngeal carcinoma and head/neck disease
  • Colorectal, gastric, liver and pancreaticobiliary surgery
  • Urology and gynecologic oncology
  • Pediatric oncology and hematologic oncology
  • Radiation oncology, pathology, molecular diagnosis and nuclear medicine
  • Clinical-trial center and current International Medical Center
International logistics

Fuda Cancer Hospital

  • International record-review pathway
  • Translation and travel-support model
  • Selected interventional/local tumor techniques
  • Case-specific treatment proposal after record review
  • No emergency department according to Fuda’s published FAQ
  • Current treatment availability must be confirmed
SYSUCC international-patient detail that matters: its standard outpatient system is appointment-only and its APP/WeChat registration currently requires a Chinese phone number. The International Medical Center publishes separate contacts, which may be more practical for an overseas patient. SYSUCC also states that medical records, test results and discharge summaries are issued in Chinese and it does not translate those documents into English.

Respiratory and Thoracic Care

The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University is the clearest disease-specific Guangzhou route for difficult pulmonary and thoracic problems. Its official international site highlights respiratory disease, pulmonary nodules, surgical and medical lung-cancer care, COPD, asthma, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension and obstructive sleep apnea.

Diagnosis

Pulmonary nodule or unclear lung lesion

  • Imaging review
  • Bronchoscopy / interventional respiratory evaluation
  • Pathology or biopsy question
  • Surveillance vs surgery decision
Chronic disease

COPD, asthma, ILD or pulmonary hypertension

  • Diagnosis confirmation
  • Severity and treatment-response review
  • Complex medication strategy
  • Multidisciplinary respiratory assessment
Thoracic oncology

Lung cancer requiring surgery or multimodal review

  • Surgical operability
  • Thoracic surgery pathway
  • Medical oncology vs surgery question
  • Compare with dedicated cancer-center route
Lung cancer can fit more than one hospital. The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University is especially strong when the case is respiratory/thoracic and surgical. SYSUCC may be more natural when the dominant question is comprehensive oncology, radiotherapy, molecular treatment or a cancer-specific trial.

Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery

Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital houses the Guangdong Cardiovascular Institute, a major cardiovascular clinical and research center in South China. Its published programs include coronary disease, arrhythmia, structural heart interventions, congenital and pediatric cardiology, cardiac surgery and intensive cardiovascular care.

Coronary & interventional cardiology

Relevant for complex coronary disease, PCI questions and broader cardiovascular risk management.

Arrhythmia & electrophysiology

Includes atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmia, pacing and complex electrophysiology pathways.

Structural & surgical heart disease

Published capabilities include transcatheter valve intervention, aortic disease, cardiac surgery and intensive perioperative support.

International layer: Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital operates Concord Medical Center, which publishes experience treating foreign patients from more than 50 countries and provides international/private outpatient, inpatient and health-check services. For a specific cardiac procedure, confirm that the intended specialist and procedure can be routed through this service.

For a national disease-specific comparison, see Fuwai Hospital Beijing.

Kidney, Digestive and Colorectal Care

Kidney / multisystem

Nanfang Hospital

Nanfang hosts the National Clinical Research Center for kidney disease and also has major gastroenterology, liver, orthopedic and trauma platforms. It is a strong option when kidney disease is severe or interacts with other organ problems.

GI / colorectal

Sixth Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University

Particularly relevant for colorectal cancer surgery, complex anorectal disease, inflammatory bowel disease, gastric disease and other GI questions. Its International Medical Center publishes a direct booking route.

Nephrology / transplant

First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University

Its nephrology department is a national key discipline/clinical specialty, while the hospital also has a major organ-transplant program. This makes it useful when kidney disease and transplant evaluation overlap.

Organ transplantation requires an eligibility and legal pathway review before travel. Do not assume that a transplant program’s existence means an overseas patient can enter that pathway. Confirm indication, donor pathway, documents, waiting/listing requirements, cost and long-term follow-up directly with the hospital.

Eye Care: Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center

Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center (ZOC), Sun Yat-sen University, is a dedicated public eye hospital and publishes a specific International Eye Care pathway for foreign nationals, Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan residents and commercially insured clients. It covers all ophthalmic subspecialties.

Two campuses, different specialties

Zhujiang New Town serves specialties including cataract, glaucoma, cornea, retina, refractive surgery and pediatric ophthalmology. Ouzhuang includes ocular immunology/uveitis, ocular oncology/orbit, emergency/trauma, strabismus and other services.

Eye emergency: ZOC states that its ophthalmic emergency department at the Ouzhuang Campus operates 24/7. For non-eye life-threatening emergencies, use Guangzhou’s general medical emergency system by calling 120.

Women, Children, Pregnancy and Fetal Medicine

Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center is a specialist public system for pediatric medicine, pediatric surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, neonatology, prenatal diagnosis and fetal medicine. The hospital’s booking system includes an International Medical Clinic category, but foreign-patient identity registration, interpreter/language support and specialty-specific access should be confirmed before an overseas patient travels.

Pediatrics

  • General pediatric medicine
  • Pediatric surgery
  • Neonatal and complex pediatric care
  • Multidisciplinary difficult-disease clinics
  • Child-specific specialist services across multiple campuses

Maternal-fetal medicine

  • Prenatal genetic counseling
  • Prenatal screening and diagnosis
  • Fetal ultrasound and high-risk assessment
  • Invasive prenatal diagnosis when indicated
  • Fetal monitoring and selected fetal-therapy pathways
Pregnancy travel requires timing and safety review. Confirm gestational age, maternal/fetal risk, airline restrictions, which documents are required and whether the hospital can accept the case before booking.

How to Arrange a Guangzhou Hospital Appointment from Abroad

01

Define the clinical question

State the diagnosis, stage/severity and whether you need surgery, radiation, transplantation, procedure, second opinion or diagnostic clarification.

02

Choose hospital + department

“Hospital in Guangzhou” is too broad. Select the disease-specific department and confirm that the department accepts international cases.

03

Send records first

Ask whether the team can review pathology, imaging, laboratory data and prior treatment before you book flights.

04

Confirm access in writing

Appointment date, campus, language support, deposit/payment, admission plan, expected stay and any documents needed for registration.

Do not assume every hospital’s app works for a foreign visitor. SYSUCC, for example, states that its standard APP and WeChat registration require a Chinese phone number. A dedicated international center or coordinator may therefore be the more practical entry route.

Contact numbers, clinic locations and service rules can change. Reconfirm on the hospital’s official website before relying on a contact for travel.

Remote Review Before Flying to Guangzhou

A remote records check can prevent unnecessary travel, but “remote review” means different things at different hospitals. It may be a coordinator checking whether a department can accept a case, a specialist reviewing records, or a formal telemedicine consultation. Do not treat these as interchangeable.

SYSUCC

The International Office states that it can review medical files prior to arrival to verify the possibility of treatment. It also explicitly states that it cannot provide a treatment plan before arrival in China.

First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University

Its international service describes pre-travel consultation and coordination through a dedicated international patient team, with support continuing through appointments, translation and follow-up.

For other hospitals, ask directly whether the review is formal. Request the department name, physician/service, required documents, fee, response format and whether the hospital will issue an appointment or acceptance confirmation before travel.

Insurance, Direct Billing and Self-Pay

International insurance in Guangzhou is service-specific. A hospital may have an international center without supporting direct billing for your insurer, or the insurer may cover consultation but require preauthorization for admission, surgery or expensive drugs.

Published direct billing

SYSU Sixth

The International Medical Center explicitly states that it provides direct billing for clients of contracted insurance companies.

International/private center

GDPH Concord Medical Center

Built for private and international care and experienced with insurers, but your exact insurer and benefits still require confirmation.

Never assume

Written confirmation first

Ask about direct billing, guarantee letter, preauthorization, deductible, excluded drugs/devices, deposit and balance payment.

How Much Do Guangzhou Hospitals Cost?

There is no reliable single “Guangzhou hospital price.” Public general outpatient care, a private international clinic, robotic surgery, cancer radiotherapy, ICU treatment, organ-transplant evaluation and fertility treatment have entirely different cost structures.

Consultation

Standard public clinic and international/private specialist fees can differ substantially.

Diagnostics

Pathology, molecular testing, CT/MRI/PET, endoscopy and specialist imaging may be billed separately.

Treatment

Surgery, radiation, drugs, devices, ICU, dialysis and procedures depend on the actual treatment plan.

International layer

Private ward, coordination, interpretation, direct-billing administration and premium services may add cost.

For planned medical travel, request a written estimate after record review. Ask what is included, what is excluded, which items are provisional and what happens if new tests after arrival change the plan.

Emergency Care in Guangzhou

Medical emergency number in Guangzhou: 120. Guangzhou government emergency guidance uses 120 for medical emergencies and dispatch through the city’s emergency medical network.

Call 120 for acute emergencies

  • Severe chest pain or suspected heart attack
  • Stroke symptoms
  • Major breathing difficulty
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Major trauma or uncontrolled bleeding
  • Severe allergic reaction or rapid deterioration

International clinic ≠ emergency department

  • Planned medical-travel intake should not delay emergency care
  • Fuda states that it does not provide emergency services
  • ZOC provides 24/7 eye emergency at Ouzhuang for ophthalmic emergencies
  • Confirm emergency capability of the hospital/campus before relying on it

What Medical Records Should You Send?

Core file for most referrals

  • Diagnosis and one-paragraph medical summary
  • Recent specialist reports
  • CT / MRI / PET / ultrasound reports
  • DICOM imaging files when available
  • Pathology report and biomarker/molecular results when relevant
  • Operation / procedure summaries
  • Current medication list and allergies
  • Recent laboratory tests

Add the question you want answered

  • Is surgery possible?
  • Which radiation technique is appropriate?
  • Is transplant assessment realistic?
  • Is there a trial or advanced-treatment pathway?
  • Can the diagnosis/pathology be re-reviewed?
  • Can the hospital accept an overseas patient?
  • How long would the patient likely need to stay?
  • Can a written cost estimate be issued before travel?
Translation matters. SYSUCC specifically states that its medical documents are issued only in Chinese and that it does not translate medical documentation into English. Ask each hospital what language it needs for incoming records and what language it will use for discharge documents.

Guangzhou vs Beijing vs Shanghai for Medical Treatment

City Examples of distinctive strengths When to compare another city
Guangzhou SYSUCC oncology, respiratory medicine at FAH-GZMU, cardiovascular care at GDPH, eye care at ZOC, GI/colorectal at SYSU Sixth, transplantation and nephrology at FAH-SYSU. Compare Beijing/Shanghai if a particular national center, trial, technology or disease-specific team better matches the case.
Beijing PUMCH for complex/rare multisystem disease, Fuwai for cardiovascular disease, Tiantan/Xuanwu for neurology/neurosurgery. Guangzhou may be more practical for southern China specialty access or a Guangzhou-specific center such as SYSUCC or the respiratory center.
Shanghai FUSCC oncology, Ruijin hematology/CAR-T/endocrine, Zhongshan cardiovascular/liver, Huashan neuro/infection, Renji GI/transplant/rheumatology. Guangzhou may be preferable when the exact clinical question maps more strongly to SYSUCC, FAH-GZMU, GDPH, ZOC or SYSU Sixth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Direct answers to common questions about Guangzhou hospitals, English service, insurance, remote review and emergency care.

What are the best hospitals in Guangzhou for international patients?

There is no single best hospital for every diagnosis. A practical shortlist is: The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University for complex multidisciplinary care, nephrology and organ-transplant questions; Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center for specialist oncology; Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital for cardiovascular disease; The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University for respiratory and thoracic disease; Nanfang Hospital for kidney, digestive and orthopedic complexity; The Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University for colorectal, gastrointestinal and reproductive medicine; Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center for eye disease; Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center for pediatric, maternal and fetal care; and Fuda Cancer Hospital for a clearly published international cancer-patient route. Hospital fit should be based on the exact diagnosis and treatment question.

Which Guangzhou hospital is best for cancer treatment?

Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center is Guangzhou’s major dedicated public cancer center and now publishes a dedicated International Medical Center. Fuda Cancer Hospital is another cancer-focused option with a long-standing international-patient service. The right choice depends on cancer type, stage, required surgery or radiation, trial relevance, language needs and whether the hospital can accept the case before travel.

Which Guangzhou hospital is best for lung and respiratory disease?

The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University is a major respiratory referral center and hosts the National Center for Respiratory Medicine in Guangzhou. Its international-patient site highlights lung cancer, pulmonary nodules, COPD, asthma, pneumonia, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, sleep apnea and thoracic care.

Which Guangzhou hospital is best for heart disease?

Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital is a major cardiovascular referral center through the Guangdong Cardiovascular Institute, with cardiology, cardiac surgery, arrhythmia, coronary, structural-heart, pediatric-cardiology and cardiac-critical-care programs. For a highly specific procedure, the final decision should still be based on the exact diagnosis and operator or team needed.

Can foreign patients use public hospitals in Guangzhou?

Yes, several major public hospitals in Guangzhou have published international or private medical services, and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office also lists multiple Guangzhou public hospitals as having English-speaking staff. Access is not identical across hospitals: some have dedicated international centers, while others require the standard Chinese registration route or case-by-case coordination.

Do Guangzhou hospitals provide English-speaking medical services?

Some do. Dedicated international services are published by hospitals such as Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center. Other major hospitals are listed by the UK FCDO as having English-speaking staff, but language support may depend on the department and shift. Confirm the exact service before travel.

Can I get a remote second opinion from a Guangzhou hospital before flying?

It depends on the hospital and department. Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center states that its international office can review medical files before arrival to assess whether treatment may be possible, but it does not promise a treatment plan before the patient arrives. The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University describes pre-travel consultation support. For other hospitals, a formal overseas second opinion should be confirmed directly.

Do Guangzhou hospitals accept international insurance?

Some international departments provide insurance support, but direct billing is hospital- and insurer-specific. The Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University explicitly publishes direct billing for contracted insurers, and Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital operates the Concord Medical Center for international and private patients. Never assume coverage: ask the hospital and insurer to confirm direct billing, preauthorization, exclusions and any required deposit in writing.

How much does treatment in a Guangzhou hospital cost for an international patient?

There is no credible citywide package price. Costs vary by public versus private service, specialist consultation, imaging, pathology, surgery, radiation, drugs, intensive care, length of stay and international-service level. Request a written estimate after the hospital has reviewed the diagnosis and records, and ask which items remain provisional.

What should I do in a medical emergency in Guangzhou?

Call 120 for medical emergency services in Guangzhou. Do not wait for an international outpatient appointment when there is severe chest pain, stroke symptoms, major breathing difficulty, uncontrolled bleeding, severe trauma, loss of consciousness or another acute deterioration. Some specialist international services are planned-care services rather than emergency departments; for example, Fuda states that it does not provide emergency services, while Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center has a 24/7 ophthalmic emergency department at its Ouzhuang campus.
